I forgot to mention the perk scavenger, when you kill someone you'll see the drop a little blue bag, in this bag is everything, ammo and more claymores. I thank the first comment on this for reminding me i completely forgot about it because i don't use it past level 45 which is where i happen to be when posting this. thank you.

Need more claymores?
Some people, such as snipers like claymores. Back in call of duty 4 a sniper could occupy a building and lay 2 claymores, most buildings that snipers liked only had 2 ways in. In modern warfare 2 you'll notice that you not only have 1 claymore and its much harder considering most buildings have more then one entrance you feel unprotected. Not an issue anymore, at level 45 you unlock the perk, "One Man Army" which is a great perk and personally its to good to be true yet it is true. This perk allows you to switch classes during your life you no longer have to die, when you switch a class you have full ammo for that class including claymores, you may lay 2 claymores at a time if you lay a 3rd then the 1st will explode. Having 2 claymores is easier then you may think, Also this allows you to switch to a class you like, say you really like a sniper with 2 attachments like silencer and heartbeat sensor and with one man army you only get 1, well after you lay your 2 claymores and if you wish make another class with tactical insertion you may switch to your bling class at any time. Just remember once you switch to the bling class you no longer have one man army and may not switch back so you'll now have 2 claymores layed and one pending if you wish, heres another tip for extra claymores, if you pick up the tactical insertion while your class has claymore you will carry a 2nd claymore so if you don't use tactical insertion you can just lay it and pick it up after you switch, does 4 claymores, 2 layed at a time with what ever class you want sound good to you? Try it.

You forgot about the scavenger perk. It allows you to gett full ammo and equipment by killing another player and "take" his ammo. So, if you first plant your clay, kill some dude, take the blue bag, and there you have another clay to plant.
