EVERYTHING with one man army noobtube and claymore camping DOES work and for new players its ok to give it a try but after prestiging several times do not keep doing it you should be good enough to not have to. I am guilty of one many army noob tube with danger close but sometimes it takes the fun out of it for everyone else so don't do it if you are not new, i myself dont do it anymore. From July 11th 2010 on i will be posting For more skilled players, not the people who get nukes and chopper gunners and ac-130's every match but i will be posting for people who get harriers but not often and would like to improve, if your not there yet then enter the chatroom and i can help.
1 on 1 challenges are no longer being accepted. Practice/goofing off and tutoring ARE being accepted at this time.
Click here to be taken to the modern warfare 2 chatroom There will be videos posted below the chat box.

Rather get wins then kills for beginners or people with lower to medium kill streaks.

I have talked a lot on how to get kills over and over but not much about winning, if you would rather win the match other then kills heres some tips.

For just you playing with no other person in your party, use (uav, predator missile then harrier or attack helicopter) or use (uav, counter uav, predator missile) very depending on how you play and what you think you could consistently get, save your uav's until needed if your in a team game like deathmatch use it after you have died so that it will help you earn another uav which will again help your team including the people with the high up kill streaks like chopper gunner or ac-130. If your in a free for all use it eather after you die (if you feel you need it right away), when your 1 or 2 kills away from your predator or helicopter etc or when it gets near the end use 2 at once it refreshes twice as fast which is very useful. Counter uav's should be used when you hear an enemy get a uav, if they don't have a uav used then they can simply make up for your counter uav after its gone with their uav, but if you use it during their uav you'll cancel it and screw them over with no map, as for predator missile try to use it during that life to help you earn your next kill streak if you don't have another one then use it to eather destroy an enemy helicopter or harrier, or you can use it when your safe to get kills, saving it for kill streaks will assist you in getting the win in a team match and use it for kills or kill streak in a free for all depending on who used the kill streak, if their lower on the list then get kills if their up on the top then destroy it. If your in a headquarters a good time to use it is as soon as you capture the headquarters, don't waste it when they have the headquarters because they wont respawn quick enough for it to be of much use.

For if you have a team or partner helping you in this way then i suggest for everyone to use uav, and predator missile. The 1/2 of you more likely to get higher kill streaks use harrier or attack helicopter and the other 1/2 use counter uav or care package, they can be mixed. since everyone has uav when one runs out use another, communicate to know who's going to use it. The people with care package or counter uav use your predator missile to destroy the other teams kill streaks such as helicopters, harriers, etc, and the people with harrier or helicopter equipped if your still on the same life as when you got your predator missile then use it for kills to get your next kill streak if your not then use it on the other teams kill streaks. If at the end your team is winning or about very close to winning, use all your kill streaks one after another and have everyone stay behind cover and go for the win, let the people using predator help by telling their team where the other team is, and if those kill streaks succeed then you should be able to hold their team back long enough to win, now if your in a deathmatch and theres only like 10 seconds left your team is tied or down by a kill or 2 then use your predator to get kills other then destroy the kill streaks because you are just to close to winning, don't let any kill streaks go to waste.

Hope this helps, good luck

Last minute kills.

If you happen to have uav equipped as a kill streak and you dont really need it at the moment save it. you'll find that in the last minute of the match such as free for all or deathmatch you will, if you or your team is only down by a couple of kills that uav will just be awesome, when the match is almost over use all your uav's 2 at a time and just go kill, you will find that in the last minute of the match some people start to think "oh shit we have to get kills now" which makes them careless and just run at you, the uav tells you the direction and easy kill. Heres one example i just had that inspired me to type this entry to help people, i was in a free for all i had 24 kills 6 deaths and one person was above me with 25 kills 7 deaths, i had 4 uav's waiting and 1 harrier, he had a harrier already out along with a chopper gunner and a pave low was out right before the chopper gunner so i was at a big disadvantage, the harrier got me 1 kill then tied 25, 25. i used 2 uav's and just went on a quick rampage got 4 kills, then i was up i had 29 he had 27, this happened within 20 seconds so i just used my others because i wanted the points and didn't want to waste them and just got the final kill ended up 30 kills 7 deaths me, 28 kills 9 deaths him, and i had 1 harrier he had 2 harriers a chopper gunner and pave low. oh he was pissed since when we had 24 and 25 kills he was bragging and talking shit to everyone, he let his guard down thinking he was untouchable, therefore i won. If you get a uav don't waste it save it for when you need it, i save mine for when i'm 1 or 2 kills away from something bigger like helicopter, harrier, predator missile, ac-130, anything like that. A quick kills tip near the end of the match.

Request for Tactical ("Camping") spots

I don't like the word "camping" because were just being tactical, were not cheating in any why, just like when people call the grenade luncher a "noob tube" i can hit inside of any visible window on any part of any map weather im 5 feet or 500 feet away, almost guaranteed in 1 shot and im not a noob. Heres a tip for every level for people who do not like to run around in a match to much, If you want to know suggested classes i already have a post on that its under multilayer for beginners, multilayer for intermediate, multilayer for advanced. Good luck.

Afgan:
If you pause and look at the map on the left side is where the big hill is located, lay a claymore on both ways to get in to that area, snipe a little after a few shots go to the tall grass with an assault rifle with heartbeat sensor and play the waiting game. If no one comes repeat the process, this is good for probably 10 kills max if you can pull it off.

Next good spot is on the top of the map there will be 2 grassy areas and a bunker, the grassy area closest to the bunker has a little boxed off barrier, the one with 8 crates, a barrel, and a small sandbag area. On both sided lay a claymore slightly aiming that direction. you can now safely snipe and if your compromised you have lost of grass and a heartbeat sensor on an assault rifle.

Derail:
Theres a building on the top left of the map, on the 3rd floor you can bust a window and go out on a ledge, you have no cover from there but sniping there you can get kills, usually between 5-10 unless your a good sniper. Use lower kill streaks, lay a claymore by the stairs and ladder and you will be safe.

Theres a building in the center of the map, lay 2 claymores one on each side, use snipers grenade launchers and whet ever else you like, depending on what kind of people your playing with you could get 30 kills with high kill streaks or barely brake a 1 kill death ratio depending on how many of the other team trys to get to you. Use your best judgment.

Estate:
If your ever in a match and you see me, i thought you this spot so i have dibs on it, this is one of the best levels in the game, On estate theres a big building on the bottom of the map, enter, on the 2nd floor theres a bathroom, then a big room with a bed and a bathroom in that big room, theres only 2 ways upstairs, lay a claymore both ways, recommended to have danger close on if someone is inside, and wait, you will easially get chopper gunners and ac-130's here, this map i went 91 kills 10 deaths, and it was my best match, other then that match ive only ever been able to get in the 40's This spot is so good ive never bothered testing any other areas.

Favela:
Theres a building on the top left of the map with a blown out side, and only a 2nd floor that you get to by stairs. Stay in that building lay your claymores on the 2 ways up, i suggest having good assault rifle aim because sniping here is not the best idea but you can get long range kills.

The large building on the right of the map, get on the roof lay your claymores and its a good area, theres little cover but you can get a few lower kill streaks here and most of the people end up walking by you. Just know your not covered well.

Highrise:
Not a great level unless your in a free for all, but in free for all heres a good technique, on the bottom left on the map in the building theres a room, on the map theres a semi circle where the desk is, in the room on the other side of that wall is a bunch of cubical's. Theres a sofa with a plant next to it, place a claymore next to the sofa facing the wall on the bottom of the map, on the other side of the room theres a copy machine facing a room with glass walls, if your facing that wall you'll be facing left on the map, now while facing that wall move right a few steps and back a few steps you'll notice you can back up a little where theres a cubical wall to your left a plant in front of you and a trash can to your right, lay the claymore facing the glass room and your good to go, just hide in the room that has the semi circle desk.

On the left of the map theres a building that you can climb, get on the building and face the left of the map. You will see a crain, jump on it and jump on the one behind it, follow it up to the building and you can enter the 2nd floor of the building on the top of the map, good for sniping.

Invasion:
On the bottom of the map theres a building that you can get on by 2 ladders, lay your claymores and kill.

Next to the building on the right of the map at the bottom theres a building thats trashed on the 2nd floor, another good spot.

Next to that one theres another building with a van in front of it, thats another good building. Having 3 people one in each spot on headquarters and 3 people capturing the headquarters would be great.

Karachi:
Another not so good level, on the top of the map theres a building, on the 2nd floor theres a small room with a small bed and a dresser, lay your claymores protecting you in the building and play, tough to get kills here

On the left or the map theres a few rooftops you can get on, moving from one to the other as needed, lay your claymores and go for it, you wont get many kills

In the middle of the map theres a rooftop that is very high and has a great vantage point. Good luck this is a tough level

Quarry:
On the right of the map theres a building with 3 entrances and a tank lay claymores on the big door and the small door across from it not next to it, snipe from the window on the open doors side, when your compromised simply kill who ever comes in. This is the only spot ive managed to find so far.

Rundown:
On the bottom a little to the left of the map theres a building with stairs in the back, go up lay your claymore and its a good building.

Jump out of that 1st buildings window and jump to the other rooftops further away on your right and theres a good vantage point of the other teams spawn.

In the middle slightly on the right of the map theres a building, on the map you will see 3 bridges, the 2 on the bottom both lead to this building if they would be extended, good view of most of the map.

Rust:
Get on the top of the center area, best vantage point and you cant bee seen unless looked for.

Scrapyard:
On the top of the may is a building, lay your claymores tactically and go for kills.

On the bottom of the map is another building, lay your claymores on the big door and the one furthest away from it and you can kill from the 1st 2nd or 3rd floor, easy as 1 2 3

Skidrow:
On the bottom left is a building, lay your claymores and from that building you have a perfect view of the tunnel people like to come down.

On the bottom center is a building great for sniping from and using the turret. Lay your claymores tactically and your done.

Sub Base:
On the left of the map is 2 buildings attached by a small bridge, lay your claymores and stay behind cover as much as you can this is a great spot and a great level, you will probably be found out and killed a lot at about 1/2 way through the match to play smart.

Terminal:
Sometimes a great level sometimes a pain, to the right is a little area, lay your claymores and you have a great view of the map in that area

On the right is a plane you can get into, i found most people will not go up the side entrance so lay your claymores at the other 2 and kill from where ever in there you find best.

Underpass:
I'm not a big fan of this map but ive grown to like it better then highrise, on the left of the map is a building, theres 3 ways in, downstairs door, upstairs door, and a window nets to the upstairs door, most people wont use the window, lay your claymores at the door, and kill

Wasteland:
No true best one spot the best i can suggest is find a building on the outside of the map and lay your claymores use the windows to snipe, or lay prone anywhere in the grass preferably by an entrance/exit to the underground area in the center.

Sniper shots not one hit kills???

Ive noticed that no matter what sniper i use chest shots are not one hit kills. The chest is the easiest area to hit being the biggest and not everyone is a perfect sniper, i highly suggest using "one man army" for your first perk and "stopping power" for your second perk for one class and "one man army" and "cold blooded" for another class, use stopping power as much as you can but as soon as they get a uav just switch to the cold blooded and lay low until its safe to switch back. Stopping power on a sniper is almost always a one hit kill. If you want a better one hit kill chance with cold blooded then use FMJ, if you want to be a stealthy sniper never changing class use bling, cold blooded and ninja, with FMJ and silencer as your attachments. Good luck.

Being cheated out of claymore kills

Having an issue where your claymore will go off often but not hurt anyone or barely hurt them but rarely ever kill them? Most people don't know how to lay a proper claymore, lay your claymore so that when someone is just at the door it will go off but will not be facing them, the best placement is to make one of the red lines parallel with the wall that the door is on so that none of the blast is wasted on the wall its all on the open area where they will run by. Don't lay the claymore close to the door because they may just run into it and past it before it blows up, lay it a little back, you'll have to practice to find the perfect distance back but this works very well. If you have trouble finding that distance or you want to insure a kill then i highly suggest using the 2nd perk "Danger Close" and lay the claymore a little further back so it will cover more area.

Killed on tactical insertion respawn

Ive been killed many times by someone who sets off my claymore and doesn't die then sits next to my tactical insertion and waits for me to die and respawn. There is no sure way to prevent this but i found it helpful where when you respawn just knife down, 1/2 the people keep a few feet away and shoot you but the other 1/2 stand or lay there close enough to knife, them not knowing the exact moment you'll respawn and you just keep clicking knife fast they don't stand a chance if their standing there. If you find they keep doing that and they know you lay it there, then lay it there and lay a claymore slightly behind it where they cant see it, they will go up to it and wait your claymore will kill them or hurt them enough and you'll know where they are to return the favor.

Need more claymores?

Some people, such as snipers like claymores. Back in call of duty 4 a sniper could occupy a building and lay 2 claymores, most buildings that snipers liked only had 2 ways in. In modern warfare 2 you'll notice that you not only have 1 claymore and its much harder considering most buildings have more then one entrance you feel unprotected. Not an issue anymore, at level 45 you unlock the perk, "One Man Army" which is a great perk and personally its to good to be true yet it is true. This perk allows you to switch classes during your life you no longer have to die, when you switch a class you have full ammo for that class including claymores, you may lay 2 claymores at a time if you lay a 3rd then the 1st will explode. Having 2 claymores is easier then you may think, Also this allows you to switch to a class you like, say you really like a sniper with 2 attachments like silencer and heartbeat sensor and with one man army you only get 1, well after you lay your 2 claymores and if you wish make another class with tactical insertion you may switch to your bling class at any time. Just remember once you switch to the bling class you no longer have one man army and may not switch back so you'll now have 2 claymores layed and one pending if you wish, heres another tip for extra claymores, if you pick up the tactical insertion while your class has claymore you will carry a 2nd claymore so if you don't use tactical insertion you can just lay it and pick it up after you switch, does 4 claymores, 2 layed at a time with what ever class you want sound good to you? Try it.

I forgot to mention the perk scavenger, when you kill someone you'll see the drop a little blue bag, in this bag is everything, ammo and more claymores. I thank the first comment on this for reminding me i completely forgot about it because i don't use it past level 45 which is where i happen to be when posting this. thank you.

Care Package and Emergency Airdrops

Ive herd you can get any kill streak or ammo out of them, the only kill streak I've never seen in one is the tactical nuke, emp is very rare to find, ac-130 and chopper gunner also very rare, pave low is rare as well as stealth bomber, attack helicopter and harrier strikes are uncommon but not unlikely usually you can get 1 every 1 of 8 try's or so, your likely to get 1 of these in an emergency airdrop, a precision airstrike, predator missile, or sentry gun sometimes 2 if lucky. your very likely to get a counter uav, uav, or ammo, well over 1/2 possibly 2/3 of then will be one of those

FAQ:
Q: Can i get multiple of the same thing such as helicopter, ac-130, chopper gunner, etc?
A: Yes, although it is very very unlikely to get multiple ac-130's and chopper gunners stealth bombers, pave lows etc it is not impossible, on occasion you may find yourself getting 2 attack helicopters or predator missiles, i personally have gotten 3 predator missiles out of an emergency airdrop once, I've also gotten 2 attack helicopters and a chopper gunner, it is truly random such as having someone pick a number from 1 to 10 and you guessing it 3 times in a row, you unlikely to guess it on your first second maybe 3rd try you wont get it but you will get lucky if you keep trying and eventually get it right 3 times in a row.

Q: Can i get a care package or emergency airdrop out of itself or the other?
A: I highly doubt it, ive never seen it happen and i would assume scene I've never gotten a care package out of one that you can not considering its only a 4 kill streak and I've seen ac-130's chopper gunners' emp's and even multiple helicopters in emergency airdrops which are much higher kill streaks. I doubt you can and you probably can not but i think it would be nice to be able to get an emergency airdrop out of a care package considering getting a care package out of itself is a waste of time but getting 4 of them out of 1 would be a good break but i don't think it can happen. So your answer is No

Q: Can i get a tactical nuke out of an emergency airdrop or care package?
A: Ive herd rumors that you can but I've never seen it and ive never know anyone to see it, i cant even find an online video of it so i would say no but if you can don't hold your breath its so unlikely thats its not worth using care package or emergency airdrop for that reason. Don't bother to find out.

Q: What happens if your care package or emergency airdrop hits you?
A: Don't let that happen, if it hits you it will kill you, if it hits anyone they will die, Ive jumped on one after it landed and it killed me because it was still moving, even though it never hit me it was moving, stay away until it has landed.

Q: I always die when i use it and someone steals it, how can i prevent this?
A: Simple, lay a tactical insertion near by just incase something happens, use it at your spawn, if your playing headquarters then wait until then other team has the headquarters and most are dead, never use it when you have the headquarters because they will come after you and steel it. Do the same with emergency airdrop except make sure theres plenty or room for them to drop and if people want to take them on your team make sure you go after the one you want the most first because they will take at least one.

Suggested kill/death streaks

Beginners:
How high of a kill streak do you usually get? if when you get a 5 kill streak you feel very good then i highly suggest using uav, care package, and sentry gun. If you often get a 5 kill streak but usually you die before 6 or 7 i highly suggest (uav, OR care package), predator missile, and precision airstrike. Keep in mind uav is good to have for the airstrike but care package can give you anything maybe even something good like pave low, ac-130 or chopper gunner. If your feeling very lucky and you think you can get a double kill with the preditor then you may want to take the chance to switch the precision airstrike with harrier strike or attack helicopter.

Intermediate:
If your the person who consistently gets a 5 kill streak on your own with no care package help but you cant seem to get a 6 or 7 kill streak often then i highly suggest using predator missile, then your choice of (precision airstrike, harrier strike, or attack helicopter) and for your final kill streak use emergency airdrop.

Advanced:
If your a pro and you can get 7, 8, or even 9 kill streaks on your own i highly suggest these kill streaks, (harrier strike or attack helicopter), (pave low or stealth bomber, i suggest pave low), (chopper gunner or ac-130) chopper gunner seems to get me more kills then the ac-130

If your advanced and feeling lucky:
If your good enough to get a 9 kill streak and not die or your feeling lucky, very lucky use pave low, chopper gunner, and tactical nuke.

The reason for choosing these kill streaks, anything you get out of a care package, emergency airdrop, the sentry gun, or something you have got during your last life will NOT add on to your kill streak but the predator missile, precision airstrike, harrier strike, attack helicopter, pave low (works 1/2 the time), stealth bomber, and chopper gunner will add to your kill streaks to assist in getting your next one, the ac-130 i'm not sure about i have never been able to get enough kills for the tactical nuke with it and i never use emp. use your kill streaks during your current life if they will earn you another but use them wisely such as don't use airstrikes unless someone gets you a uav.

Multiplayer Advanced players

Suggested after you have reached a high level such as 50+ and wish for kill streaks high enough to get chopper gunners, ac-130, and emp. the tactical nuke can be acquired using these strategy's but the nuke is difficult to get on a commonly so i suggest not trying. I do not have a run and gun tactic for advanced players because of the increased chance of dying. This is not "camping" this is being tactical, if you were in a war would you really run into the middle of combat? think about what your best chance of survival is and use it. Using this tactic i have more accolades for longest killstreak, highest kill death ratio, most kills, most kills/longest killstreak, fewest deaths, killed entire enemy team without dying, and longest life then almost everything else combined, keep in mind when you start a match late your likely to get something other then them. Good luck.

Sniper/Stealth:
You will make the perk one man army your best friend as well as claymores and tactical insertion. By this time you should know what sum machine guns, snipers, assault rifles, etc that you like, just use the perks and attachments suggested. Sniper of your choice, with a heartbeat sensor, claymores, one man army, stopping power, ninja for your 1st class. Swap the heartbeat sensor for thermal scope and use smoke grenades for the special grenades, this is a good 2nd class. For your 3rd class use the same as class 2 except swap the 2nd perk to cold blooded, these sniper classes are a great combination for sniping, if the enemy gets a uav simply switch to the sniper with cold blooded for 30 seconds, if they have a thermal scope sniper use cold blooded, if an enemy killstreak is out then use cold blooded if none are an issue then use stopping power, lay 2 claymores to protect you in a safe area. For when people get near you, which is why you have the heartbeat sensor swap to class 4, 5, or 6, depending on how many classes you have which depends on your prestige you may have to drop a class, but chose wisely based on how you play. Class 6 you should have the weapon of your choice other then sniper and riot shield. use heartbeat if your stealth, FMJ or grenade luncher if your just protecting yourself, have claymores or tactical insertion, one man army, stopping power or danger close depending on if you used FMJ then use stopping power if you used grenade luncher use danger close, if you used heartbeat sensor it doesn't matter, make class 5 what ever you didn't make class 4. As for class 6 if you have it it is very convent use heartbeat sensor, cold blooded and ninja, for your special grenade use smoke and just use this for if you have been found and don't have time to lay claymores use the smoke and get out of there, stay low and behind cover and move fast to a new location, it doesn't hurt to trick them by throwing the smoke not where your going but somewhere near in a different direction to trick them to think your heading that way.

Multilayer for Intermediates trying for medium kill streaks.

This is for people attempting for a common occurrence of killstreaks for 5 kills through 8 kills on a good day
Run and Gun:
You may chose what ever you like you should know what classes you like by now but the big thing is, silencers and heartbeat sensors are very good to have, expect someone around every corner and in every area, don't just run straight to the headquarters or flag or what ever the goal of your match is, try to run and gun around the team, for example if you have scavenger lay a claymore near your teams spawn tactically, go run around the outside of the map behind cover and get a kill take the ammo and lay another on your spawn, circle the map the other direction if you can and get behind their team, if you can see a few of them enough to know if you kill them you'll be safe and you can kill them do it quickly and take one of the ammo packs. Wait to hear your claymore go off and lay another where you are now because they are currently spawning in your area hitting your claymore once you re-circle the map they will spawn back to where they were before, this does not always work sometimes people use tactical insertion or the spawn points are screwed up. Someone may be doing the same thing as you on their team so expect to run into them, after you get your highest killstreak don't just kill yourself play however you wish that will get you killed once then repeat the processes. Once you have died you can re obtain your killstreaks. Danger close works very very well with claymores.

Stealth:
This you can do the same as the run and gun but im assuming you will have more tactical perks such as cold blooded instead of stopping power or danger close, Use the same tactic as run and gun except 1 difference other then your perks and guns, don't leave their spawn, move a little out of their spawn area and get a quick silent kill, usually their team notices someone died there and come after you or the guy you killed comes after you, lay claymores and have them die by a claymore or 2, they will start to assume your not leaving then lay your last claymores there and find a close vantage point of that area where they wont expect you, they now think your their but your not, they will die by your last claymores or set them off and start trying to find you where you were before, sneak up on them and knife them to save ammo if your feeling lucky or just silently kill them, if your lucky you will manage higher then 8 kill streak on a decent occasion but its not guaranteed.

Sniper:
Snipers generally do not get high kill streaks unless their experienced, do not run in open area, after you get 2 to 3 kills in one spot move silently and quickly behind cover to another area, scavenger is near useless because they should be far away but if you do have a heartbeat sensor and a secondary weapon that can get you kills when people are close its not a bad perk combined with claymores. Feel free to stay in one spot the whole match and snipe but your likely to be found before the end and killed several times.

Multilayer for Beginners wishing for a kill.

Go play any match however you like but heres a tip for beginners, remember these classes are mainly good for a quick 3, 4, or 5 kill streak, no promises that you will get anything above 4 but you should commonly get 4 if you always expect and prepare for someone to be around a corner.
Stealth:
This is for beginners, as quick as you can chose a gun your good with This weapon will have cold blooded as a perk so make it something that doesn't need stopping power. For me it was just leveling up quickly to unlock the Scar-H. Learn your weapon, if it has recoil then pulse fire at long range which is simply tapping the button to shoot the gun instead of holding it in. When you can use ninja for your 3rd perk, cold blooded for the 2nd and bling for the first. On your primary weapon use a silencer and heartbeat sensor and move slowly behind cover through out the level. secondary weapon is up to you, i suggest a luncher but what ever works for you. With this set up you should be able to get a handful of uav's, counter uav's, care packages, and predator missiles.

Run and Gun:
This is for beginners who run and gun, First chose if you want to be a close or average distance player. For close range i suggest bling as the first perk, the UMP45 with rapid fire and FMJ, stopping power as the 2nd perk and steady aim as the 3rd perk this allows for quick close range kills, the secondary weapon is up to you but i suggest the PP2000 with FMJ and which ever other attachment you wish, test out akimbo if you don't like it then switch or use a striker or AA-12 shotgun both good, i suggest FMJ and your choice of a 2nd attachment, i would go for extended mags. Now if you want to be a medium range player i suggest any of these, Famas, scar-H, FAL, M16A4, with FMJ and your choice of thermal, red dot, holographic dot, acog, or heartbeat sensor, or you can use the RPD or AUG hbar preferably the aug because of its far faster reload speed with FMJ and your choice of secondary thermal, red dot, holographic dot, acog, or heartbeat sensor, i suggest a shotgun for secondary weapon just as i did for close range, just incase someone is close and your know it you can prepare. Always pulse fire at long range to maximize your chances of getting the kill.

Sniper:
If you want a guaranteed one hit kill i highly suggest the Barrett 50 cal with stopping power and FMJ but their will be recoil and use bling for your first perk and i highly suggest the heartbeat sensor so that if people get close you can switch to secondary and kill them. For secondary i suggest the PP2000 with FMJ or the Striker or AA-12 shotgun with FMJ and your choice of 2nd attachment. This works well. 3rd perk i suggest scrambler. If you want to be a silent sniper i highly suggest Bling for the first perk, cold blooded and ninja for the 2nd and 3rd. Along with the M21 EBR with a silencer and Heartbeat sensor This will most likely not be a 1 hit kill, sometimes 2 or 3 but you will be more likely not to die this way. keep in mind once they know where you are you shouldn't go back this match, or t least for a few minuets. For secondary i suggest Striker or AA-12 with silencer and FMJ.

Special ops ECHO

ECHO - Play on veteran
Wetwork:
The 1st breach is quick and easy, i suggest the 1st door. Nor after the breach theres a small delay then several guards come from on the other side of the fence, no problem just 1 frag, 1 stun then shoot who doesn't die. Walk to the left not right because you want to keep your distance here, look up the stairs theres usually a few people up their stay back and kill, go up the stairs then once you make it to the top and people start coming run back to the beginning fast, next to where you started is an AT-4 pick it up and wait, when the helicopter is coming come out of cover long enough for him to see you and shoot but not long enough to kill you, once he stops shooting you have like 3 seconds to aim and shoot, you get one shot, 2 if you find the other, so make it count, once you destroy it slowly advance because people will have followed you down the stairs, kill them and work back up, once you get there to where you were before advance straight then right, keep an eye out for people to kill, take the intervention, or if your feeling very very lucky take the other weapon with a thermal scope. Kill the few people around that corner and make sure theres no one down on your level, advance up then as soon as you reach the top come right back down and wait for a few people to follow, they may or may not come, then once you kill them go back up slowly and snipe the people through the smoke with your thermal, keep in mind they to have thermal, after you kill everyone straight ahead move to the left and kill them, then before you go as far left as you can get prone and try to snipe through the small holes in the metal because theres one sniper to the far left who will kill you in 2 shots and will take those shots very very fast, hes hit me probably 29 of 30 shots hes very good once you take him out and everyone is dead and you can breach the final door, i suggest the door on the right. Keep in mind theres several barrels of explosives and c4 so be a careful shot, only breach with a weapon other then sniper, shotgun and rocket luncher, theres way more guys in this room then the first so kill the guy to the right who will knife you then just aim and shoot carefully and quickly. This part is a pain to fail at because once the room is clear you win. Good luck this is hard.

High Explosive:
This is not impossible just the hardest mission in the game. You will be abusing a tactic in this game i don't believe was meant to be in it. Use the Grenade luncher or rpg and kill the 1st 2 Juggernauts, after this go back to where you started and lay 2 claymores one on the left hidden to where he wont see it but will hit it and one in the middle building, hide resupply on ammo every chance you get you will need it. Hide behind the green car so you can see straight through the window for any that come, hit them with a grenade luncher, they should stop moving and start shooting but not at you, now that their not moving kill them with the grenade luncher or rpg but do not kill yourself with the rpg, once their both dead resupply on ammo asap and relay the claymores if needed then go back behind the car and do it again, for some reason when you hit them from back they they are just clueless on where you are and wont move, this will take time and practice, they will come 1 then 1 then 2 then 2 then 3 then 3, but if you don't kill both or all 3 then one will still come but there will be a few second delay giving you time to kill the others or resupply, theres not much to say here but this seemed to be the best way, this is by far the hardest mission in the game. Good luck

Armor Piercing:
This one is easier then high explosive even though your killing more Juggernauts. sometimes they spawn slightly different areas but heres what you should do, pick up the Barret 50 cal at the beginning, You will use it to get every kill, being a sniper it can be an easy 5 hit kill. slowly advance up through the building and to the area where you start at the beginning of wetwork, then go one floor up, lay a claymore at the top of the stairs and stay in the back, knock a few boxes over that may get in the way they will go away after a minute, then stand there and snipe them, be careful sometimes at long range they will hit you but remember 5 shots and every time your hit them they may stumble making this easier. If someone sets off your claymore and your in the middle of a kill finish that kill within 3 seconds then reload and go to the Juggernaut who set off your claymore and just keep shooting as soon as you turn the corner, don't aim with the sniper just shoot as fast as you can, and keep walking to him, you will kill him. Relay a claymore, reload and keep doing that, if they get close then do the same thing you did with the Juggernaut on the stairs. Easy 15 kills. good luck.

Special ops DELTA

DELTA - Play on veteran
Wardriving:
Try not to use to many claymores in the first building, enter the side slowly and kill everyone, use the laze target on your gun at the building ad much as needed. after you clear it outlay a few claymores like 3 or 4, activate the Intel and run upstairs and wait don't put your life in danger if you don't have to just wait if they deactivate it you'll resume from where you left off. Once its clear go to the 2nd building, i believe this one has a sentry gun, use it and a few claymores once you empty it out, stay behind the counter you should be safe back there. The 3rd i believe is the last one, use everything you have and flee to the upstairs and just protect yourself the claymores and sentry guns will do the rest once you have everything run quickly on the side of the road your currently on back to the beginning, you should be able to sprint back but take cover just in case. good luck this isn't so hard.

Wreckage:
Blow up everything! use sentry guns to protect you and just go on a killing and blowing up spree, keep your destruction up though because you'll need the unlimited ammo it will make everything easier. Don't advance to quickly though because even though everything is exploding you'll find not everyone is dying so be cautious but just have fun.

Acceptable Losses:
If you get spotted your screwed. Start by picking up the sniper in place of your pistol. go to the right, after the building on your left theres 1 guard, go to the closest target after hes dead, theres 2 guys on the other side of the car, simple kill, after the 1st target head to the 2nd, on the left of that plane theres 2 people you can take them out one shot from sniper make sure their dead. on the right of the plane theres 2 people walking closer kill them quickly also then plant the 2nd bomb. The 3rd bomb you should go to the left of it, if you face it from the 2nd bomb just head to it as if it was 40 feet to the left, it will lead you on a hill with an opening next to the bomb, its inside. Wait for the 2 guards to pass the door walk behind them and kill them, then kill the 1 inside the door, then the one leaning on the wall near the bomb, plant the bomb then leave the same door you came in, walk along the side of the map once your near the gate you'll see one guy next to it, kill him then kill the guy to the right of him, then make a run for the finish the only people who can see you are in cars and you'll make it before they alert anyone. Stay crouched until the very end.

Terminal:
Im sure theirs more the one way to do this but heres my way, get the grenade luncher and a weapon you wont use like a pistol, once you exit your little room go right kill the 3 people, one holding a riot shield, swap it for your unused weapon. Slowly advance and when they start shooting or you see them at all retreat to that little room, as long as your in the back of the room all they can do is shoot and not hurt you so try to kill them with the shield by meleeing them, if you melee another shield 2 times they will die, once their dead advance a little more once you see them retreat back to the room and do the same thing, now you will do this a few times but its your best chance for success if needed use frags or stun grenades, on your last one or 2 waves you'll think your clear but once you try to advance you'll see a few people with shields because they move slower and take twice as long to reach you, no matter you don't have to retreat if you don't want thats why you have the grenade luncher. Takes time but isn't as hard as breach and clear in my opinion.

Estate Takedown:
Kill everyone in the building as quick as you can, and get to the highest floor as quick as you can, on the way up make sure you have a thermal sniper and a gun you like. On the last stairs you go up theres 2 rooms on the left go into the one thats kind of a u-turn to get into and kill everyone from that room, sniping will be your best friend here, and you have your favorite gun because you will face multiple Juggernauts here and they will make it up the stairs, shoot shoot and shoot, don't knife just shoot, crook the grenades and stun them but remember theres several so don't use all your resources on just one. If you happen to pick a sniper as your 2nd weapon also, its only a 5 hit kill for Juggernauts so use something not single fire, i like the Barrett the best. This will take time and practice, and if i remember correctly theres one Juggernaut on your way in the building.

Special ops CHARLIE

CHRLIE - Play on veteran
Hidden:
If you love being stealthy you'll love this level if not you'll hate it. When you start theres a guy to the right and one to the left, knife them if you can. Next slightly further theirs 2 more of them simply kill them. Heres the hard part, 8 snipers in the field if i remember correctly, as soon as you face the field, theres one on the right behind the tree, one straight ahead and one between the tank on the left and the tree behind it, good luck seeing them their always in the same spot. Keep to the left, when you get to the group of tanks look next to a tree by a tank in the same direction you were facing then you entered the field, hes right nest to the tree. On the other side of the tanks your near to the left theres a sniper very close, about 15-20 feet usually and theres one about 60-100 feet away same area. The last sniper i can remember is behind a tank next to a tree furthest that direction, you may not see the tank until you go over the small hill like area. kill him. Their may or may not be one more, im not for sure, then run down the field by the pipes theres a tree sit by the tree, when you see all 4 guys, maybe 3 im not for sure just wait a little while, once their all their snipe them one by one starting from the back. Advance a little until you can see the base of the house and make sure no one is in the path, theres also a sniper on the tower on the building, he wont see you you can snipe him or climb the latter and knife him your choice. once the building is clear lay 2 or 3 claymores by the door you did not come in so that no one can come in and lay one at the back door for insurance that you killed everyone there, snipe as many as you can from the tower. the few who come in will die by claymore. Once their all dead advance forward slowly because your about to be able to snipe someone, take him out chuck a grenade in the building to the right of him and run back to the building with the sniping tower and relay a bunch more claymores. Go back to the tower and snipe them theirs more this time so count how many made it in so you know if your layed enough claymores or if one is still alive in their. Once their dead advance to where you threw the grenade earlier before you ran back. Once your their go in the buildings and use the windows to take out the 3-5 snipers in the field i don't remember how many for sure so be cautious. Once their all dead advance slowly to the finish incase you missed one. Good luck this one is time consuming but fun.

Breach and Clear:
This i did 2 players, very very hard once you enter kill as many as you can in the breach and get behind cover on eather left or right, if 2 player have one on each. Kill the people on the balcony across from you one at a time before advancing check ahead on balcony's and kill them to, When in the 2nd room imidatly throw a grenade to the back of the 2nd room entrance to the 3rd and hope to kill all the riot shield people, if you didn't throw a frag then stun right away. As soon as you can take a riot shield and stay along the wall and use the shield to move to the end of the 3rd room and fall through the hole in the floor, dont try and kill them all if you don't have to just use the shield. very very hard good luck to everyone here.

Time Trial:
Do the same thing you did in race just faster.

Homeland Security:
This is fun. Stay in the building you spawn near, lay claymores and a
sentry gun in the doorway so that you done have an issue with people
coming in, next use what ever weapon you picked to kill them, i
suggest saving the rpg for the ground vehicles and use regular guns
for the helicopters their touch to hit with rpg's and save the thermal
as long as you can the last wave is the best to use it, dont leave that
building unless its between waves and do it quick, theres a 2nd
sentry gun in the building to the left of the one your in you may take
it but be cautious when doing it.

Snatch and Grab:
Take your time the only reason this mission can be considered hard is because of the Juggernauts in the middle, they don't always spawn in the same spot so be aware, snipe snipe snipe, before you worry about killing everyone make sure to take out the Juggernauts at the beginning if he makes it to you life will be difficult. 5-7 shots with the sniper should kill him on average, several clips with any assault rifle if hes close. Slowly advance and keep sniping as much as you can. On occasion someone may sneak behind you if that happens just simply kill them, once you get the Intel go up the plane but don't jump down just snipe everyone you can. Heres where 2 player comes in handy because of this part, 1 Juggernauts will come from the hill, no problem snipe him, one will come from behind feel free to retreat before you advance so that you have a large playing field for you and him. The Juggernauts from behind has been responsible for most of my deaths here, he doesn't spawn instantly but then again its in a 2 minute or so time frame so you cant just predict him as well as you would wish. Once you clear that out its good to relax on top of the plane on the left after you jump down out of a plane after the Intel. Wait a minute just incase then advance slowly up the hill, theirs only a few more people to kill but don't let your guard down because dying here would be frustrating, good luck.

Special ops BRAVO

BRAVO - Play on veteran
Overwatch:
Must be done on 2 player, if you want to just get it done, have whoever is better on the ground, if not have who ever is worse on the ground for practice. Let the AC-130 player kill everyone before you advance, theres only a handful of people you cant kill from the AC-130, like 5 or so, very simple. take your time, i can probably beat it in 4 minuets on veteran but i would much rather take 5 and stay alive then try in 4 and die and restart.

Body count:
Stay in 1 building and do the best you can, if you don't have to stand then don't stand use explosives and just stay in one area, use your mp and their red dots on the map. Thats it no real advice.

Bomb squad:
Slow and steady, don't advance until your sure their all dead.

Race:
Oh i hated this one took to many try's, you may have to play several times but take a straight run through the race with out hitting any trees, if you hit one, restart. Never stop shooting until the big hill at the end because they may kill you and if they cross in front of you you'll hit them. good luck

Big Brother:
This one is tough, have one man on the chopper and one on the ground i highly suggest the better player on the ground because both me and my friend are almost equally good yet we couldn't do it unless i was on the ground and even then we barely did it. When he was on the ground we made it to the end but for some reason someone spawned on the roof and killed him. Take it SLOW do NOT rush this because it will take time, let the chopper take out what he can but the person on the ground must do a lot of killing still. this is though good luck and don't forget when you get on the roof lay claymores then run to the finish.

Special ops ALPHA

ALPHA - Play on veteran.

The Pit:
Fairly easy, get through the training, try it a few times and learn who is where, if you do this in the campaign and get under 30 seconds you get an achievement for xbox, i'm unsure how the ps3 works because ive never owned one and don't know anyone who does. Do not get use to this level none of the others are this easy.
Sniper Fi:
This was by far my favorite considering you get a predator missile. lay as many claymores as you can so that no one can come up the stairs and kill you make sure you keep 3 or so so that if they destroy them you can replace them to save yourself. Stay prone as much as you can if not then stay crouched do not stand often you will die. Kill the outcast who are away from the group with the sniper and you have unlimited predator missiles so use them as often as you can. you can pritty much win alone with the predator missile. Do not leave the roof top.

O Cristo Redentor:
This was a pain only because i was inexperienced when i did it. Stay hidden behind cars, walls, what ever is there and just wait for them to spawn if their taking to long run from cover to cover do not try and win while not in cover. if you hear a dog get somewhere close where he only has one direction he can come from so you can shoot him, he is a pain to kill via knife.

Evasion:
If your not experienced with the sniper then get experienced fast, i have been told you can just sneak by everyone but i much prefer to kill everyone instead. Get prone on the right side and wait for the firs 4 to walk by, when they stop moving they will be behind you looking away, you may kill them if you can quickly if not don't try, this is easy on 2 player. If i remember correctly their will be a man and a dog walking do not kill them yet because a little farther up are 3 guys who will be alerted and this mission is a pain when they know your there. After the dog and man are out of sight kill the 3 guys on the left, try to aim yourself for a double kill with one shot if you can, and even if they fall keep shooting a few times, on occasion one doesn't die and you are discovered. Walk a little farther and there will be 2 guys just kill them both quickly. A little farther theirs the dog and man again and in the back far behind them theres 2 other guys, they may be hard to see depending on your screen and all, try for double shoots if done successful you can do this in 2 shots, but after they fall keep shooting a few more times, they may not die in one shot. this is much easier on 2 player. later 4 guys and a dog walk by, i haven't done this on one player but if you don't think you can kill them then try to avoid them, on 2 player have someone take the 3 in the front and the other take the 2 in the back. Go up the right side and when u get near the top you'll see 4 or 5 more, i think its 5, 2 in the front right 3 in back left but their may only be 2 im not for certain but you will see them. Quickly kill them and i think thats it, if not theres only 2 more on the top of the hill but you don't have to be silent killing them because theirs no one else to come after you. good luck.

Suspension:
This isn't bad but its not easy. I recommend 2 player, have one guy take out the left and the other take out the right. i suggest staying back because at the beginning they all come from ropes on the side of the bridge you can kill all of them quickly before they get a shot off. advance forward and get to the next area. pick up an rpg and have one person distract and shoot at the people while you lay prone behind a car and when the helicopter stops moving take it out, if you do not then it will kill you quickly. Stay behind cover and slowly advance to the end.

Good luck keep in mind i did these with a friend so it may be slightly different if you do not simply change your tactics a little.

Modern Warfare 2 getting started.

This in my opinion is currently one of the best games. This will be the first of many post, hopefully this will help you become a batter player.

To get started. If you haven't beaten campaign on veteran then i suggest doing it, its great practice, when playing multilayer online people don't have as good of accuracy but they can think and try to trick you, practicing on veteran is a good way to improve. Beat the game on veteran and try to use the auto aim where when you aim it locks on a target as little as possible you will not have that luxury in multilayer. If you feel theres something else about campaign i should add, let me know. don't worry about beating it in 6 hours, 10 hours or even 20 hours of gameplay just do it and you will improve. It took me 12 hours 56 min, that includes getting all the lintel and no practicing i went straight into it, feel free to goof off and try techniques on the computer. good luck.
